About GCEasy

GCEasy is an English practice platform for learners in Thailand. This student demo includes original exercises and Marisa, your study companion.

Practice content

All 73 practice sets contain original passages and questions, with their own answer keys and study guidance. They include timed papers, reading exercises, directed writing, compositions and text-analysis essays. They are not official past papers, full mock examinations or predictions of exam results.

Course labels help you find relevant skills. We are independent of the examination organisations named on this site. Teacher and curriculum review is still needed before we claim that these materials are aligned to an exam specification.

The practice library also provides external links to official MyTCAS and Cambridge papers, specimens, answer keys and exam guides. Those papers remain on the exam board’s website and are not copied into GCEasy or sent to our tutor.

Marking and feedback

Multiple-choice answers are checked against an answer key. Each question includes an explanation, so you can understand the reasoning and revisit it later.

When you finish a set, Marisa automatically checks your written answers against each exercise’s rubric. You receive a practice score, a breakdown of the criteria, strengths and suggestions for improvement. Feedback is saved with your answer so you can revisit it and ask Marisa to explain it.

Written practice scores are estimates, not official exam grades. Check feedback against the passage and rubric; marking can make mistakes, and its consistency still needs review against teacher-marked examples.

Study companion

Marisa is a study companion with a generated voice. She can discuss your questions and answers in English or Thai. Ask for a question by number or compare questions. During a paper she gives hints and advice; after submission she can explain your answers and feedback.

Click Talk to Marisa to start recording after granting microphone access. A pause in your speech sends the question automatically, and Marisa speaks her reply. You can also finish or cancel the recording yourself, type a question, or replay an explanation with Listen.

Data storage and privacy

Student accounts keep challenge points and profile settings together. Paper drafts, annotations, notes and results are saved separately for each account in this browser and synced to your account when connected. The shared teacher demo keeps its work on this device. You can remove saved work from My practice.

When you ask Marisa a question or submit your writing for marking, the relevant question, passage, assessment guidance and your answer are sent to OpenAI through the server. Tutoring also includes limited recent chat. Voice recordings are sent to OpenAI for transcription, and reply text is sent for speech generation. There is no continuous screen capture.

The leaderboard is optional. It shows only the display name, avatar and challenge points you choose to share. Your username, password and written answers are never shown there. Choose a nickname rather than a full name.

Images and fonts

The student images were generated for GCEasy. They depict fictional Thai secondary-school students and are not photographs of customers or testimonials. Marisa’s portrait represents a fictional tutor. DM Sans, Instrument Serif, Caveat, Manrope and Noto Sans Thai are open-licensed fonts hosted locally.
